Nia: the purpose of this site
This site was developed to facilitate the on-line search for educational resources and materials on, about, and for people of African ancestry. As classroom teachers we have spent countless hours searching for reliable resources that are relevant to our professional practice and reflective of the African Nova Scotian/Canadian community.
The idea behind this site is to share information that can be used to elevate learners, using resources and materials that are Africentric in nature.
Ubuntu is an African approach to helping, respecting, and supporting one another for our greater well-being and this site is organized with that in mind. It is expected this site will be continually evolving and growing. There is a page for users' to provide feedback and we welcome you to share any information, resources, materials, and knowledge you possess.
